Here’s a fun event that we are teaming up with Thomas Magees Sporting House and Whiskey Bar in Eastern Market.

Thomas Magees and Guinness Irish Stout welcome the Michigan Irish Chamber of
Commerce for the Six Nations rugby match Ireland vs Italy

The pub will open at 7am for the London Arsenal vs Tottenham soccer match.

At 8am until supplies last we will be doing a custom Guinness pint glass engraving
for our guests. Light breakfast style hors Oeuvres will be served at 8am as well.
The food and custom pint glasses are complimentary for our friends from the chamber.

At 9:15am the Main screen (and many other) will be the Six Nations Irish match Ireland vs
Italy after the conclusion of the match the main screen will switch over to the
Manchester City soccer match and college basketball (MSU Purdue)

Direct From Ireland THE DRUIDS Live at The AOH Hall

Winners of the Irish Folk Music Awards as the “Best Live Act” of 2017, THE DRUIDS are returning from Ireland for their March 2018 US tour and they will be at the AOH Hall for 1 night only. Wednesday March 14 at 7 pm. Tickets are on sale now. The Druids have “SOLD OUT” The AOH Hall the last 2 years and they are expected to do so again on March 14. Get your tickets now to avoid disappointment.

Motor City Irish Fest June 15-17 2018

The 9th annual Motor City Irish Fest is Father’s Day weekend June 15, 16 & 17 at Greenmead Historical Park in Livonia. The MCIF is quickly becoming one of the best Irish Festivals in the Midwest and is right in our own backyard. Please join us for 3 days of celebrating our Irish culture and heritage through wonderful Irish music, dancing, cultural tent, children’s area, Irish and American food vendors, retail vendors, beer tent, Irish whiskey tasting, Gaelic football demonstration, a Sunday mass and more. There is something for everyone at the Motor City Irish Fest. Save the dates. We hope to see you there.

 

St. Patrick’s Parade Kick-Off Celebration

The St. Patrick’s Parade Kick off Celebration is one of the years best parties. This year it is being held at Monaghan K of C Hall in Livonia on Sunday February 25. Get in the St. Patrick’s Day spirit with great live Irish bands, Irish dancers and a cash bar and food will be available for purchase. Please join us and show your support for the 6oth annual United Irish Societies St. Patrick’s Parade. You won’t want to miss this party.

 

13th Annual St. Patrick’s & St. Joseph’s Day Party

The 13th Annual St. Patrick’s & St. Joseph’s Day Party is Saturday March 10, 2018 at Century Banquet Center in Sterling Heights. This will be a fun evening of celebrating Irish and Polish heritage with Irish & Polish music, dancing and food.

The Knights of Equity and Daughters of Erin are hosting a dinner to honor the 2018 Grand Marshals of the 60th annual Detroit St. Patrick’s Parade, Erin & Dave Keem. Join us on Thursday February 8, 2018 at the AOH Hall for this wonderful dinner.

Kitty’s Annual Valentines Ceili At The Gaelic League

Kitty Heinzman’s Annual Valentines Ceili Fundraiser is Saturday February 10, 2018. This is always a fun night of music and dance to help raise funds for the Gaelic League Irish American Club and the Detroit Irish Radio Show.

2018 MIACC St. Patrick’s Gala, Save The Date Tuesday March 13, 2018

The 2018 MIACC St. Patrick’s Day Gala is in the planning process and we would like you to be there. Tuesday March 13, 2018 we will be celebrating our Irish heritage and culture at our annual Gala. This years Gala will be at Sinbad’s in downtown Detroit. This is our signature event of the year so don’t miss it. More details will be released soon.

This is going to be a great night! You are invited to join the MIACC for a networking event at The Claddagh Irish Pub Livonia Tuesday August 22, 6:00 – 8:00 pm as we welcome The Claddagh as a “Bronze Level Sponsor” of the MIACC.

This networking event will feature a presentation from MIACC Vice President and Immigration Attorney, Meghan Kennedy Riordan on the requirements of obtaining your Irish Citizenship and Irish Passport. If your parent or grandparent were born in Ireland, you are eligible to apply for Irish citizenship and an Irish passport. Required documents will be provided. This plus wonderful networking opportunities with chamber members and Irish American business owners, delicious appetizers and door prizes as well.

Drink tickets will be provided for MIACC members. The Claddagh Livonia offers 1/2 off appetizers and $3.00 pints every Tuesday, so we encourage you to attend this fun and informative networking event.
