Congratulations To MIACC President Joseph McGill

The Michigan Irish American Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors wish to
congratulate MIACC President Joseph McGill on his appointment to the State
Bar of Michigan’s Board of Commissioners. Below is a press release
announcement.

The results are in!  MIACC President and attorney Joseph P. McGill’s
candidacy for a position on the State Bar of Michigan’s Board of
Commissioners was successful!  He will serve a three year term
representing attorneys in Wayne, Monroe and Lenawee Counties. The Board of
Commissioner was established by the Michigan Supreme Court to assist with
serving the needs of the 45,000+ attorneys throughout the state.  The
Commission works with the Court, State Bar staff and the Representative
Assembly on issues related to access to justice, the administration of
courts and the practice of law in Michigan. There are twenty elected board
members drawn from statewide voting districts. In McGill’s district, six
highly qualified candidates were vying for the position and the race was
considered the most hotly contested in the State! The MIACC congratulates
all the candidates that ran and we look forward Mr. McGill’s term as a
Commissioner for the State Bar of Michigan!

Congratulations Joe!
